Talk:Restricted area achievement
From Geohashing
Could this be extended to pay-only? Such as in the middle of a theater, a museum, a carnival, etc.
- No, but having to pay an admission price is a a good idea for an achievement -Robyn 13:07, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
I think 'proof' needs to request photographs of whatever is in Area 51, if someone ever claims it from there. --Kyevan 04:44, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
"No Photography?"
I'm in the District of Columbia gratitude. There are plenty of defense type locations around the area where photography is forbidden. How would one provide proof? Sohmc 13:27, 28 February 2012 (EST)
- A photo at the closest location that does allow photography, a suitably redacted photo of the accreditation that gets you in, and a good story will probably satisfy most people. A GPS track could do it. It's pretty much mandatory to give some indication of why you had access, or else it's illegal trespass and doesn't count. We're not inundated by posers pretending to have all-access passes. We just like to celebrate the coolness of geohashers happening to have access. - Robyn
