User:Chiropter
Ok, hi!
I'm (pretty obvious) Chiropter and I was dragged into geohashing by Amras (well, I kinda dragged him into it too).
It was after reading all the xkcd comics and since we're students ICT we liked those a lot.
Then some friend (he didn't signed up yet, but we're trying to convince him) told us that there were people who actually were geohashing. I didn't believed it, but this site proved otherwise. And since Amras has and can drive a car we'll try to reach some points.
I'm new on these wiki-based pages, so any help is welcome (thanks already to Robyn) and correct me if my English is really too bad.

Visited Geohashes
- 2008-11-17 51 4: first Geohash: quite an adventure.
Failed Geohashes
- 2008-11-24 51 4: er, we started off (me and Amras), but after we got lost in the really weird streetplan of the old centre of Antwerp and Linkeroever my father called to buy flowers for my sister's birthday the next day, so we had to cancel it.
Hated Dates
- 2008-12-03 51 4: If I only had time I could've cycled my way to it, or convince Amras to come along. We could've had the speeding achievement. [add curses]
- 2008-12-04 51 4: Again, I don't have the Time. This location is like half an hour cycling.

Amras says that I deserved the abduction achievement by taking him to my house, but the description says: "a complete stranger".
Still hoping for an endurance (maybe during Summer Holidays...), couch potato or something alike. There is a possibility on Walk Geohash if it is not too far (near Antwerp (and more preferrable south of it)). I also hope for an underground Geohash, but I realise that this could become a problem since a GPSreceiver simply won't receive when you're underground.
More Information (and Layout) will follow.
