Hotspots I've Scouted
The boys and I made the trek down the long end of the valley to find Saturday's meetup location.
Due to traffic on I-81, we were about 30 minutes late, arriving at about 16:30.
Since the actual spot was several feet off into the woods, we stopped on the side of the road. After about 20 minutes, and figuring that no one else would be there, we moved on.
Not too far from where we had stopped, we turned onto Horseshoe Bend Road to find a driveway that would lead back to the meetup location. Partway down, we encountered a nice lady planting tomatoes in her garden. After doing my best to convince her that we were not selling anything or trying to convert her religious beliefs, I showed her a couple pages I printed from the wiki. She kindly sent us on our way with a "have fun."
We must have barely missed Phyzome.

It was way too hot for full Pirate regalia, so we did what we could...
We arrived a couple minutes early, stopping on the shoulder of a busy highway. Within a few minutes the rest of the crew were there, then we just had to wait for traffic to abate long enough for us to make our move. It took a couple goes to get the chalk marked on the road, then to get back out for the pictures, but we had to keep the crew safe.
Once we had our pictures, we headed over to Moo Thru for refreshments.
Didn't see any other Geohashers there, but we had a good time.
