Hey, haven't heard from you in a while! Are you coming out tomorrow? It's so perfect, ans super easy to get to! Robyn's away, but Sparks might be there. Thepiguy 18:22, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Look like it'll be really easy! Hope you can make it!Thepiguy 18:35, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Are there pictures? Are you going to make a page? I'm jittery with anticipation! Thepiguy 16:33, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Nice pictures! And thanks for adding me to the drag-along page! And about the hat-trick, check out 2008-08-19 49 -123! =) Thepiguy 19:40, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Don't worry about. As long as we both had a fun day, it's all good! The upload system is pretty easy, the only trick is scaling your pictures down to a reasonable size. If you're using MS Paint (which works just fine) scaling them by 20-25% works well. As for the photographing the GPS; my current system is take 25 or so images, and hope one of them is readable. Hope to your pictures soon! Thepiguy 07:41, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Glad you had fun at your first hash! I'm sure we'll meet up at some point in the future too! How badly did you pictures turn out? It would be cool to see two sets of the same location, even if they aren't that great. (I'm no photographer myself!) Thepiguy 06:51, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to the graticule. I'm out of town right now, but I hope to meet you at a hash some time. Robyn 03:40, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Good going on today's geohash. Vancouver/Surrey has to be in the running for most active graticule this month. I love this sport. -Robyn 02:47, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Picture size

Hi, you might wanna resize your pictures before you put them on the wiki. An unsharp pic of a GPS doesn't get any better at 2MP, and unnecessary takes up diskspace. (I might not be the best person to claim this, since I probably upload the most pics, but I do resize them first!) There are of course exceptions, like when the picture is really brilliant, or resizing messes up the composition and/or some detail you shot it for. Usually 800x600 is good enough for online viewing.--Arvid 12:02, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
