Plans

Going to Haifa today with mom. She has other plans not involving me, I'll try to visit the hashpoint on the way home.

Expedition

  • Merkazit HaMifrats station, awaiting the train that would take me to Kiryat Motzkin. Then it's about a 15 minute walk from there to the hashpoint.
    Then... I'm not sure what goes after that. -- January First-of-May (talk) @32.7939,35.0369 15:58, 4 June 2023 (GMT+03:00)
  • FWIW in the Kiryat Yam hash I went all around the darn house and never got a reading of less than 13 meters - more like 18 meters at the front and back sides. Which makes no geometrical sense, the house isn't even that large. Maybe some kind of nearby military base messing up the GPS readings or something.
  • I think my last post in the wiki was something like "I'm going there, let's see how it works" and then I was disappointed by the silly readings and never reported back.
  • Yerushalmi: Did you go into the parking lots and stairwell?
  • Parking lots yes, stairwell no because it looked like the door probably had a code and there were people nearby so I didn't want to act too suspicious. When the people asked what I was looking for I showed them the Geohash Droid screen (showing the ~15 meter reading) and they said it probably wasn't even that house, but AFAICT it was definitely that house. I did a few screenshots and pics but not a lot.
