3:30 (Darkid) stopped for a bagel, ground wet but not raining.
3:50 (Darkid) spotted Thomcat and we walked to the spot.
4:00 (Darkid) finished my bagel while watching to see if anyone else arrived.

I saw on the map that this was a) achievable and b) just west of the Red Brick Highway from 2024-10-02 47 -122, so I drove past to start there. Didn't see any particularly good place to park, so I made a plan to park across the street.

This is the north end of the preserved section that I visited just a month ago. I took a picture of the much more informational sign, and then headed south to where the brick road went over Evan's Creek.

Hard to tell if this small concrete bridge is as old as the paved road. No year mark.

Drove back to the Microsoft location to park. No visitor parking, so I borrowed the rather wide entrance. From there I walked east to cross at the light. At the corner of the lot was a relatively wide body of water - but not directly connected to Evan's Creek. It was more than a city block long, and the ducks were using it as a landing strip.

I walked west to investigate the gate, not visiting the actual point yet, then continued to the next corner, where a bicycle approached "from the internet."

Together we walked towards the site, and hashdanced the spot - definitely outside the fence :) The van parking turned out to be King County Metro vans, not UPS vans.

Walking back towards the crossing and then my car, we discussed my later commitment - D&D. I've played all editions and run most, and today it would be a variant of 5E called Nimble. Turns out Darkid had heard of this - the world is truly small. Well, I wouldn't want to geohash all of it.

We chatted further until just after 4 - a Saturday meetup success. I then bade adieu and drove home for dice slinging.
