I was able to parallel park some part of my car on the spot itself. I missed sunset by just a few minutes, but on this cloudy day it was hard to tell. GPS delay for some reason (clouds? high trees?) indicated that the spot was near my car; the google satellite photo indicated the spot was under my car.
Now on to the meetup - the Denton Poets Society meets every Wednesday night for cultural stimulus or, failing that, beer. Tonight it was the Harmon Brewpub in downtown Tacoma for two pints of Porter and a slice of Peanut Butter (ice cream) Pie.
