Jevanyn
The geohash for Philadelphia North is in the intersection of Fishers Rd. and Pennswood Rd. in Bryn Mawr. It's three blocks northeast from Montgomery Avenue. It is 1.5 miles east of Villanova, and just east from Bryn Mawr College. It is easily accessible by mass transit. (If San Francisco has the BART, does Philadelphia have the PhART?.)
Expedition
Success! Gwynnath and I got to the intersection of Fishers and Pennswood at dusk. It's a well-to-do neighborood with older, historic (colonial era?) buildings. This ruled out drawing a big X in the intersection and fooling around with Charlie the Raptor, but the geohash expedition was a success nonetheless.
