:::Yeah, that's pretty typical for a kayak rental. One reason I was so pleased with the $300 price tag on the sevylor - that's not all that many rentals before it's paid for itself. Plus then I can go kayaking more because I don't have the rental "sticker shock". -- [[User:Rhonda|Rhonda]] 18:20, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Kayak rentals?

Do you know if there will be kayak rentals there? I currently lack a boat. - Elbie 16:45, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

http://www.northshorekayaks.com/ says they serve residents of Lions Bay.

http://www.britishcolumbia.com/regions/towns/?townID=4030 - scroll down to "Porteau Cove" section - it's the only public boat launch between horseshoe bay and squamish. The boat launches at Sunset & Lions Bay are private. We are in kayaks so we can launch from any beach we can walk to, but we won't have access to the boat ramp. -- Rhonda 16:51, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

50$ for 1-4 hours? Looks like you'll have to count me out for this one. Have a good trip! - Elbie 16:56, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

writeup

My internet is painfully slow most evenings (and today seems to be no exception) so I'll upload my images and tracklog tomorrow, when it's typically faster.

No problem. I'm working on Princeton, anyway. -Robyn 05:12, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
