:Yeah. You'd have to research names for the graticules and add them to [[All Graticules]] in order to make the continent appear normally, and I think that's not worth the effort if nobody ever plans to go hashing there. Having the coastlines mapped would be useful for context, though :) --[[User:Dawidi|dawidi]] 19:57, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

This is pie in the sky, but [http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=1901e13b-073d-4df6-a252-5b69437aa6e3 look at the stats] that geocaching compiles for users! It would be cool to have some fraction of this kind of information for geohashers. Where would you start?  You'd need a limited "log find" type interface, I suppose.

TODO

  • implement better regions for GlobalActivityByWeek so Yerushalmi's Israel expeditions aren't counted for Africa anymore
  • include some of the "Not reached - (reason)" categories for ExpeditionGraticules and MostActiveGraticules (not all "serious effort" failed expeditions have Coordinates_not_reached)
  • "MostActiveGraticules" alternative view (like on the wiki) that shows running statistics for the most important graticules instead of varying "top 15" for each month
