Hi, mom! - Are you at home? - No. - Where are you? - Um, near Garmisch... - Are you geohashing again? - Um, yes... - How many of you are there? - Nine... - Well, have fun, but don't tell your father. Bye.

Bo pictured before a wonderful Halloween.

My name is Bo Daugherty. I am a neogeohasher from West Knoxville, TN. I found out about geohashing on digg. xkcd is usually on the Top Stories, so I clicked on the link and had my little laugh. I was in quite the inquisitive mood that day, which led me to Wikipedia searching the origins of xkcd. After reading a little about Randall Munroe, I came across a link to geohashing. Here, my adventures began!

My first ever hash was attempted and succeeded on November 27th, 2009.

You are more than welcome to contact me via e-mail or my Facebook page.
