My name is Bo Daugherty. I am a neogeohasher from West Knoxville, TN. I found out about geohashing on digg. xkcd is usually on the Top Stories, so I clicked on the link and had my little laugh. I was in quite the inquisitive mood that day, which led me to Wikipedia searching the origins of xkcd. After reading a little about Randall Munroe, I came across a link to geohashing. Here, my adventures began!
My first ever hash was attempted and succeeded on November 27th, 2009.
