Why is it suggested that Placename, State names become Placename, USA names? This is a bad idea because many placenames are repeated from state to state. Proposal: This should be organized by country or at least continent, to make it easier for potential renamers to look at areas they are familiar with.
Graticules where major continent or country is not clear will be listed separately. --Superbest 23:48, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

- Well, considering that most of them got their name just because someone who isn't anywhere near them thinks that he found a name that represents the area, I think the idea of finding a better name isn't completely invalid.
