Expedition

Looking for a pretext to drive in the general direction the hashpoint, I decided to redeem a gift certificate to a downtown sporting goods store. I only had to overshoot by ten miles.

The hashpoint is within a dense tree on the edge of somebody's driveway. I parked off of the surprisingly busy rural road, zipped across, got to within six feet, and thrust my arm into the foliage. The tree was at the hashpoint, I was at the tree; ergo, I was at the hashpoint.

Unfortunately, the shoes I wanted were out of stock in my size and had to be special-ordered.
