Warning: Not a real doctor.

Greetings! I'm Dr. Canadian Ninja, which I am well aware is a mouthful, so most people shorten it down to Doc, Ninja, or DCN. Occasionally Geoff. I have a tendency to ramble on and on, generally only stopping when someone points out that I've been going on for far too long, or as is often the case, I realize I've been going on for the last thirty minutes without so much as a breather. This makes Skype rather entertaining at times.

Yes, my home graticule is Jacksonville. Yes, I'm actually Canadian and didn't just choose the name because it sounds cool. For my first 25 years of existence, I ended up ping-ponged between Florida and Nova Scotia, with a two year breather in Massachusetts.

Geohashes

1. 2012-03-10 Very first geohash, entered TPC at Sawgrass before security didn't like my presence. Still, a successful trip!

2. 2012-03-18 Needed to get out of the house and local hashes were in the Atlantic. Road trip!

3. 2012-04-01 A trip to Faver Dykes State Park takes a turn for the worse; hash not reached.

4. 2012-04-08 Georgia can go to hell.

Goals

  • Complete a minesweeper achievement using Lake City, Florida as the center. Unfortunately, there's a whole lot of nothing, for the most part, which seems like it might be dull.
  • Complete hashes in five different states/provinces.
  • Leave an entire deck of cards as markers. See below.
  • Complete a reverse regional achievement in the Jacksonville graticule at the county level.

Markers

Where possible, I'd like to leave markers of these expeditions. My chosen sign stems from a recently started collection of playing cards. The cards are shuffled before the top one is picked, so there's no particular order to the cards. On one side, a link to geohashing.org/marker. On the other side are the coordinates reached.
