Plans

As usual I checked the coordinates in the morning and saw that it was reachable (mostly) and not too far from home.

Expedition

On June 1st, I'll start a 30 day cleanse program that includes for fasting days and the rest are the old "two delicious shakes and a healthy meal" stuff. So I resolved to have a "last meal" before it begins. In the spirit of geohashing, I decided to first visit the hashpoint and then find something to eat from there.

The hashpoint was in a neighborhood near my friends' place, so I knew the directions. Upon reaching the street, I was delightfully surprised at the amount of 50s-60s architecture in the area. Right off the main road was an "Executive Building" with a stone facade and hexagonal windows and numbers. Many of the houses on either side of the hashpoint were 1950s California style "Atomic Ranch" homes which my wife and I adore.

The hashpoint was just a few feet off the road and on someone's property and it was raining lightly, so I opted for a shot of the point from the dry comfort of the car as well as some of the houses nearby.

Now for dinner!

I had a craving for pizza (like always) so I searched for nearby pizza places and the first one that caught my eye is Papa Murphy's Take 'n' Bake. I dig that, so I stopped there. That night I enjoyed my last soda for 30 days and a small sausage, mushroom pizza with extra cheese.

Tracklog
