Rather than flame me back to the Iron Age (which I surely deserved) another commenter gently reminded me that people were complicated, and posted a link to an [http://xkcd.com/592/ XKCD] cartoon. Wow! I wasted the next several hours exploring the site. And I discovered this geohash thing, which had the attractive potential of wasting all sorts of time well into the future. I was hooked. | ||
