::After carefully re-reading the rules for the [[http://wiki.xkcd.com/geohashing/XKCD_Centurion|XKCD Centurion]] achievement, I believe we can shift the official time to 14:30 for this time and still get that point - provided more than one of us shows up. Otherwise 4 pm would apply as usual. So could you drop me a note when you definitely decide whether you go or not?

Today's Location

About

This graticule contains Stuttgart with most of its densely populated surroundings. Other important cities are Ulm (with a small part also in 48, 10), Tübingen and Reutlingen. The main geographic feature are the "Schwäbische Alb" elevated plains which are - in southern german terms - a rather remote rural area with low population density. The graticule is located almost entirely in the German state Baden-Württemberg, except for a 6.2 km2 piece (=0.075% of the graticule) of Bayern (Bavaria).

Expedition planning / Upcoming locations

2008-11-22 Saturday's hash is even nearer to Tübingen than last week, in the Rammert forest near the Hofgut Eck farm (shown on google maps with the funny but wrong name "Eek"). To get there by bike, take the road to Kressbach from Derendingen or Weilheim, then the small road through the Golf place to the Eckhof. Hash collision honorable mention is available, but that applies to almost every hash in this area. The weather forecast is horrible, there shall be wet snow and strong wind, so it probably won't be much fun to go there.
nick_mz will go there if the weather isn't too bad. But since I have other plans that afternoon I'll be there at 14:30.

After carefully re-reading the rules for the XKCD Centurion achievement, I believe we can shift the official time to 14:30 for this time and still get that point - provided more than one of us shows up. Otherwise 4 pm would apply as usual. So could you drop me a note when you definitely decide whether you go or not?

Sunday's location is somewhere in the woods between Böblingen and Leinfelden-Echterdingen, no easy place.

Monday's hash is above Neufra (Hohenzollern) near the road to Harthausen.
