We woke up on 2013-09-02 to the unexpected sound of rain bucketing down on the Pine Tree State.  This led to considerable modification of our game plan.  We ditched this one after driving from our base in Waterville to as close as Dover-Foxcroft (which is more than 50 miles by road, probably the least close I've ever come to a hashpoint).  Oddly, we went ahead and tried for two others: [[2013-09-02 45 -68]] and [[2013-09-02 45 -67]].

We are going to see what we can do with this hashpoint from a base camp in Waterville. It looks pretty doable, but it's hard to say for sure without being familiar with forest density and access norms in this part of the world.

Expedition
