The tea rooms seemed to be very popular with ladies of a certain age. My beardy sandalled arrival caused a few raised eyebrows and I was the only male in the place apart from the staff. I'm more at home in a pub or greasy spoon cafe. However the coffee and chocolate cake to celebrate the expedition success were excellent.

Expedition

Sourcerer had visited Norwich to deal with some legal matters. Going home via the hashpoint added a mile or two to the journey. It was situated on the edge of an agricultural field very close to the main road.

The nearby stream was overflowing its bed and slightly flooding the road. The jet stream seems to be creating very odd weather with depressions with wind and rain crossing the UK every second day since mid October. There has been extensive wind and flood damage in the south and west of the UK. The damage locally is less severe. At least its mild unlike frozen north America.

The tea rooms seemed to be very popular with ladies of a certain age. My beardy sandalled arrival caused a few raised eyebrows and I was the only male in the place apart from the staff.
