Location
In the parking lot of Oakland International Airport.
Participants
Plans
Take the bus to the airport, walk through the parking lot to the hashpoint, document it, and return by bus.
Expedition
This was straightforward. The hashpoint was mostly straight down a walking path from the bus stop in front of the terminal, and it was in an aisle but not a busy one. Plus, the time I spent at the geohash was pretty much the same as the time between buses, so I didn't have to wait at the airport for the next bus to pick me up.
I did have to wait later to transfer between bus routes. During this period I encountered a cat, but failed to get close enough to pat it.
As far as I know, this is so far the only time I have visited an airport for reasons unrelated to airplanes.
