Plans
The plan was to go for the Speedracer Achievement, as the hashpoint finally fell on a street....
Expedition
The planned route from 47-17 to 48-16 was calculated with duration of about 1 hour and 51 minutes. Unfortunately there were some misapprehension between B2c and Micsnare which resulted in a small detour and cost us about 20 minutes. So Crankl started his navigation system and guided B2c directly to the hashpoint.
As we reached the hashpoint, we discovered that it was a few hundred meters outside of Únanov on the street, the speed limit there was 90 km/h
After a detailed analysis of the area, we identified a small pillar on the side of the road which pretty much exactly marked the hashpoint, so all we had to do was taking a picture when reaching this pillar while we had the desired speed.
So said we did some dry runs and after we felt confident enough, we started the real run with video proof.
The work was divided into 3 Jobs. B2c was our driver, Micsnare was in charge of taking the photo of the speed indicator exactly when we reach the hashpoint, Crankl who was in the backseat had to take care of the video proof.
The whole action took about 30 seconds, the street was not very long so B2c needed to reach the desired speed fast. It took the power of 280 horses to achieve this goal. Within a few seconds we had enough speed to pass the hashpoint at nearly exactly 90 km/h.
Unfortunately the transmission was not very happy about this unexpected hard work and had to cool down for a few minutes, so we took the opportunity for a small break before we headed back to the hashcave.
After arriving @hashcave, we decided to grab something to eat and some drinks. Crankl suggested a small arabic place next to his home location, so after we had a wonderful dinner, we headed to Crankl's flat and had some beers and ciders to celebrate the successful speedracer.
