Okay, arrived at the geohash in plenty of time. Overview map showed it to be at the corner of the apartment building; gps location showed me to be meters away from the corner even though I was pressed against it (see second picture below). Power wires? Trees? Not much overhang to content with, so I danced around as much as possible to try for a better signal. I also tried to snap a screen shot, but the power/volume combination just wasn't "snapping" for me today. Ah, technology!

Expedition

Considered doing Tron for this one, but ran into a time crunch. My route would have been north around the lake, then in to the geohash complex through the north entrance. Post hash, exit through the east entrance and take the toll bridge across the lake.

Turns out this wouldn't have worked - the north gate (pictured below) was marked "Exit only" on the reverse side. Whew!

While standing there, I also contemplated going down the stairs and picking up a hash from under the balcony. Not "underground" but still a multi-level hash. Would have been great had someone else been there.

Anyhow, I finally found a true point at the corner of the balcony by reaching out. I then walked back, locking the hashpoint in at less than 2 meters distant, and uploaded to the site. Success!

Tracklog

Downloaded software for a tracklog (in preparation for Tron) but didn't turn it on for this trip. Soon....
