Expedition

Expedition 5000

Michael5000: I drove to a Starbucks near the hashpoint, ran to the hashpoint, then continued to a nearby track and through neighborhood streets, then back to the hashpoint for another go, then back to the car.

Expedition 2A

Jim stopped at Merlo Road to see if anyone had replied to my posting onto the Portland Geohash list and it turned out that Shmur had. We exchanged messages back and forth, and I let him know my plans.

I hopped onto a Eastbound Blue MAX train and headed to the 172nd street station. From there I walked up 176th to the hashpoint, passing through a nearby park. As I approached the end of the street there was a person with a device in their hand who turned out to be Shmur, who was from the Internet.

We exchanged greetings and a few stories and then headed home.

Overall, it seems to have been a success, with what I'd consider a Public Transport and what Google says is a "Tale of two hashpoints."

Expedition 2B

Shmur: Drove down to the hashpoint, waited around a bit, and met up with Jim
