There was a 1.5km walk from the car to the hashpoint. It was a new moon but surprisingly light. There were stars and a few clouds which were scattering light from the bright port area at Felixstowe further south. At 21:49 I took the evidence photo in low terrain beside a drainage ditch. About 20 metres south on top of the flood bank of the Butley river, there was a 3G signal for the upload. On the return walk there were distant views of the floodlit church in Orford. The return walk felt warmer with the cold southerly breeze now a tail wind.

Expedition

There was a 1.5km walk from the car to the hashpoint. It was a new moon, already set, but it was surprisingly light.
