As I walked back to my truck and through the woods, sitting on the door steps of the trailer is an older man. He asked me if I found what I was looking for. I told him "Yes, I did." It was on of those awkward situations where I was half expecting him to spit on the ground and Locke and Load a shotgun. It didn't happen.

About

Out in the back woods of Crowville. I followed google maps that lead to a dead end dirt road. There was a mobile home on the property where the dirt road ended. I got out and knocked on the door. A woman answered and I explained who I was what I was doing and asked for permission to walk about 1/2 miles into the woods. She said that she didn't mind and to "Go ahead."

About 100 feet into the woods it opened up to this incredible view of a field. I could see another house. I knocked on the door of the wrong house. Worse yet, I could see a drive way that was probably less than 0.1 of a mile from the Geohash point.

I walked up to the house and knocked on the door. A stunningly beautiful blond woman answered the door. She was dressed very nice like she had just got home from work. I was very nervous about talking to her. She was that stunning.

I first told her that I followed Google maps to her location and came in through her back yard because her neighbors said that it was okay with them that I walk onto her property. I told her that her neighbors didn't tell me that it wasn't their property. She said that it was okay.

I then showed her the Google map that I had and was attempting to explain to reach a certain point on her property. She looked interested in what I had to say. I then explained Geohashing to her and how each point every day is a new place to go based on the Dow Jones and the date.

She told me that it sounded like fun. I told her about some of the places that that I had been too. She seemed interested. She then asked me if I wanted something to drink. That seemed odd to me but I said "Yes!" she came back with two glasses of orange juice.

We talked about a few different things at first while I was drinking the juice. I explained where I work and what I did.

I then got BOLD and asked her if she wanted to walk out to the point in her yard with me. She said that if she didn't have heals on that she would.

Flashes of my first "Sex Geohash" were crossing my mind. Oh man wouldn't that be PERFECT! I almost said that I would wait till she changed shoes.

I thanked her anyway and said that I wouldn't be long. She said to "Take your time." Even as I write this several days later. I keep kicking myself for not inviting her out for more.

I found the Geohash spot and took a few pictures. The view is breath taking. I really enjoyed making it to this spot even if I hadn't met this beautiful woman.

As I was walking back past her house, I wrote my phone number on the Google map and instruction how to find this web site and left it on the windshield of her SUV and shouted out "Thank You!" and left for my truck in her neighbors driveway.

I thanked him and drove off for Norcross.
