Plans

We've started the geohashing season yesterday with 2013-01-11 50 8 and the Sat/Sun coordinates are so close to each other (if you cross the graticule that is but still) that we couldn't restist another midnight double. They are also not far fromthe Autobahn which is another plus.

Expedition

We met at 10:15pm at QuarterCacher's place and headed out. The drive was uneventful and we parked a mere 100 meters from the hash on a steep road. From there on it was woods though and judging from Google Maps it could have been any kind of woods including the famous 'extremely thick with thorny undergrowth'.

However, it wasn't and a mere 5 minutes later we arrived at the hash, took a photo (we did wonder at this point how many photos of us there are with a pitch black background) and headed back to the car.

It felt a lot colder than we expected, the thermometer in the car gave us a reading of -5°C. We headed on to the second hash of the night ...

Tracklog

See here for both hashes of the night.
