Arriving a few minutes early I had time to watch the apparently really small cars, boats, trains and almost imperceptible humans from a nice distance waking up. Everything looked very much like an idyllic miniature model landscape. |

I've been in Winningen before (it's beautiful) and have been in these exact vineyards before on multiple occasions, but never quite at the precise spot – and even if I'd have been, there wouldn't have been proof other than eye-witness accounts. In the attached picture I've placed a red arrow, which shows a path I had walked before and a blue arrow pointing approximately to todays hashpoint. I adjusted my planing accordingly and adjusted my drive to work to accommodate the visit to the hash-location. The actual expedition was quite uneventful. I drove to the nearby airfield, parked at a nice vantage point with a gorgeous view over the Mosel river and walked towards the hashpoint.
