Flying home for Christmas — this was my first geohash in Germany.
Here, I had no motorcycle available. I was planning to station one, but that day, temperatures were not calling for a motorcycle ride anyway. Moreover, on the way back from the geohash, I wanted to take a road from which motorcycles were banned since many years on Sundays and public holidays (and this was a Sunday and a public holiday).
The only vehicle I had at my disposal in Germany was an cold car I called Papamobil because I inherited it from my father and the color and shape reminded me of the pope's means of transportation. I did not bring my SLR camera to Germany, so also differently from (most of) my other expeditions, I documented this one solely with the phone.
The hashing went quite smooth and easy. It was nice to again drive after many years the road which we used to ride on our motorcycles when we were young.

Easy parking by the side of the road for the Papamobil. I follow the path in the background towards the geohash.
Having walked about 100 meters from the road (the car is parked at the bend), it's still about 200 meters to go.
On this field it should be, just in front of the small forest.
Here we are.
I put (temporarily) the plastic bag with my mask on the spot.
This is not the direction I came from, but it may be a shortcut to the car.
I pass by this thingy, which is the lowest high seat I have ever seen, really minimalistic.
The “shortcut” to the car turns out to be a bit cumbersome…
… but it takes me there.

At the Elbuferstraße, there is a hill called Kniepenberg with an observation tower on the top…
… that provides a stunning view over the Elbe river.
