Lachlan got ready for the bike ride and was about to leave home at 10:23am. He leant his bike against the fence in the front yard and turned around to go back inside.

BANG

The door blew shut in the wind with Lachlan's keys still inside the house.

[Flashback sequence] Lachlan recently went on a holiday with Matt and Ed, while on holiday John had visited Lachlan's house to water plants and put the bins out. When John arrived at Lachlan's house he found a package on the doorstep that had been ripped open and only had one bike tube in it. The package was accompanied by a note from a stranger/neighbour who had found the package on the ground a few blocks away. The package contained parts for Lachlan to service his bike as the drive train was long overdue(Spoiler alert, this impacted several geohashes later in the month, notably 2023-02-25 -37 144.

John retrieved the spare key from ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■, but at the end of the holiday, John gave the key to back to Lachlan and he did not put it back ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ but instead kept all of the keys to the house on one key ring.

[Snap back to reality] Lachlan was already running late but wasted 10 minutes trying to break into the house but decided there were places to be and there was no rush to be inside. Lachlan rode to Laura's house in Glen Iris and they took the beloved Djerring Trail to Clayton. They took an incredibly inneficient route through Monash Medical Centre and found the hash on a footpath. Geohash success!

Lachlan and Laura went to a nearby park, where Lachlan drank a VB and Laura drank a better beer. They then rode to a family lunch and then onto a friend birthday party.

After the party Lachlan and John rode home together and John offered a couch to sleep on if Lachlan couldn't get into his house. Fortunately Lachlan is crafty and broke into his house, he has learned several lessons. The security leak that Lachlan snuck through is now been plugged and there is a spare key ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.
