Plans

Cam spotted the geohash and asked Lachlan if he wanted to go. They agreed the train would be reasonable for most of the distance with bikes along for the ride.

Expedition

After work Cam rode to Lachlan's house, they then rode to Footscray Station and got on a Waurn Ponds bound train and got off at Little River. From there it was a cruisey 10km ride with a tail wind, we they crossed a bridge over Little River it was time to ditch the bikes.

They walked along Little River for a few hundred metres and found the has where they enjoyed a celebratory beer.

They retraced their steps/pedals and made it back to Little River town much faster than anticipated. Unfortunately the Little River pub was shut so they set about researching pub back in Melbourne. As it was a Monday most of the pubs in Footscray were closed, of the pubs that were open most of them had annoying robots that answered the phone. If you could make it past the robots you would find out that the kitchen was closed at that time of evening. Thankfuly Ascot Vale Cellars answered their phone and offered to cook pizzas.

After a train was a bike up the Maribyrnong River (big, not little). Ascot Vale Cellars serverd up some delicious pizzas and beers.
