Location
In a vacant lot behind the Broulim's grocery store. Appears that it's covered in grass and the geohash is right on the corner of the Broulim's.

Plans
A 0.4 mile walk from my apartment, it'll be the first geohash since I arrived in Rexburg that I can reach on foot! Since I'm already awake, I'll just pop over there to get the midnight geohash and get a few other achievements along the way. My phone's terrible camera should make the proof part interesting, but I'll try nonetheless.
Expedition
A mere 28-minute round trip, this definitely qualified as a hash n' run. I departed from the apartment around 11:50 and arrived at the hash at exactly midnight. Fortunate timing! After struggling briefly with my Pinephone's camera, I snapped a picture of the note I'd written beforehand next to my watch, stuck it on a tree, and reveled in the glory of having gone on a geohashing expedition at midnight, in a virgin graticule, alone in Idaho. Many firsts!
By the time I got back to the apartment one of my roommates asked where I'd been, so I explained to him the whole geohashing thing and he offered to go with me next time it was within walking distance. That should be the case a few more times this semester. I feel very lucky to have had this opportunity for a quick little adventure
