With the hashpoints published for the weekend, I saw today's hashpoint was not only easily reachable on the US side of the Toronto Graticule, but it was just down the street from a couple restaurants. I asked J if she wanted to go to dinner with me in Lewiston this evening, and she responded with "Lewiston? Why, is there perhaps a Geohash up there?". After she was done teasing me a little, she of course agreed.
After we got done with work, we drove up to Lewiston and found a place to park just down the street from the hash. It was busier than I thought it might be, but being a Friday, a lot of people must have been out to dinner. It was easy enough to walk up next to the hash, but the hash itself was actually in the Parking lane of the road which had a car parked on top of it. I was able to finagle a good enough reading without being too weird around the cars and then I got my pictures. I also noted and confirmed I could see the restaurant/brewery from the hash for my first Pub Geohash. I've been waiting a long time for this one.
We then made our way over to the restaurant and got a table. I'm writing this up a couple months later so I don't remember exactly what I got, but I assume it was an Oktoberfest beer. We don't remember what J ordered at this point either. We then had a very nice dinner before we headed for home.
