The trouble with writing reports two months late is that you forget some of the things, but I'll do my best to recreate it.
After uni, I continued on the train to Lentföhrden, from where I cycled 6.4 km to Heidmoor (which does honour to its name since most of the way there I cycled on straight paths through moorland). The path Google suggested I use to get to the hash turned out to not exist in any real sense, so I had to leave my bike on the main path and make my way across a huge meadow. On the other side, I encountered a fence separating it from the hash area, but it was so dilapidated that I could just walk right over it in places.
After making my way through some shrubs, I found a path and noticed that the area seemed to be some kind of abandoned tree nursery. All the coniferous trees stood in regularly spaced intervals, but too sparse for a real forest and there didn't seem to be any upkeep, so that many things proliferated in between and many of the trees had fallen out of shape or over. I found the hash between two large firs and would've liked to explore the place a little more, but wasn't too keen on waiting for the next train, so I hurried back, climbed a small tree to jump over the fence, and jogged across the meadow.
There was a different route back that was supposed to take just as long, so I opted to take it. However, it turned out to be a kilometre-long muddy, root-covered track that might've been fit for mountain bikes. I sped through there, pushing my bike to its limits and hoping my tires would hold. They did; and I made it to a slightly bigger path from where I cycled to the station and arrived with several minutes to spare. So what was all the hurry for‽
