Oh boy, a geohash in a nearby park? Just 15 days after another one? Who would say no to such an opportunity?

Location

In Parque Olivar del Zaudín, a park and olive grove in Tomares. Around the park is a fairly new suburban area, another one currently in planning and a golf club.

Participants

Plans

Drive to the hash point at around 12:00 pm. This one is further away from me than the previous one and, although I could've walked there if I really wanted to, I wasn't prepared for it.

Expedition

I set out at the intended time. The area surrounding the park is modern and still in construction, so the roads are in good condition because not too many people drive on them. I parked about 300 m away from the entrance and continued on foot. On the other side of the road, there's a callisthenics park, where a few people were working out while listening to some late 90s hip-hop.

The spot was on a narrow dirt track to the left of the entrance. From the time I spent there, I liked this park more than the one I visited previously. Even though it's not ideal for me on windy spring days because I'm allergic to olive trees, it's more natural. I didn't see much wildlife in the other park, whereas here I saw three different species of butterflies and I even caught a glimpse of what I believe was an Andalusian wall lizard.

...And I forgot to bring a towel. Yikes.
