I've been to this neighborhood and this parking lot in the past - I've patronized this post office. Next to the post office *used* to be a Seven Eleven, but it's been gone a while - no geosquishies for me.

Arrived, parked, took a first look at the GPS - and it was all over the place. It said I was a block west, a block east - very unreliable. Not sure why. Not under major trees or power wires - maybe something underground?

I lined up what should be the spot, captured the screen and uploaded. Will try again after a Monday morning meeting (remote for me). While in the meeting, I observed that the fence protecting the US Mail vehicles was quite severe! Good thing I didn't have to go in there.

Same results after, so I snapped a photo of my chalk marked curb. When I went to the parking lot entrance, though, it was nearly spot on. Very strange...

Leaving the immediate geohash, I went a few blocks south to Archie McPhee, fine purveyors of nonsense, gee-gaws and squirrel underpants. They were not yet open.

Ah well, off to work - and an evening flight to Las Vegas!
