The N35, W76 Graticule
This graticule contains some of the best wildlife refuges on the United States east coast - Mattamuskeet, Pocosin Lakes, Pungo, and Swanquarter National Wildlife Refuges. Unfortunately, hunting is allowed on these tracks of land (therefore the name "refuge" is a misnomer). This graticule is also home to Goose Creek and Pettigrew State Parks, which are always overrun with deer hunting dogs in the fall. Other wonderful places include the Cape Lookout National Seashore, Pamlico River and Alligator (yes, there are) River. Beautiful creatures such as large black bears, deer, red wolves, foxes, rabbits, and abundant and diverse waterfowl call this graticule home.
