I'm in the area on Saturday morning/lunchtime, so I'll give this a go. Not sure whether it's accessible but it's worth a try, as I've not hashed in the graticule before.
Expedition
Unfortunately, no luck. A combination of factors were against me here:
- Got up an hour later than planned, leaving me with only 40 minutes to walk 1.5km and back from the car park to the hash point
- It was drizzling
- The chosen roadside walk was not pedestrian-friendly. In fact, it was more like an assault course with the added thrill of risking collision with lorries
The ultimate frustration was when I drove away, only to find myself a minute later driving up the very slip-road that took me about 100m from the hash. I actually thought about stopping and making a dash for it, but (a) that would be illegal and (b) there was a fence along the boundary anyway.
Oh well, can't win 'em all!
