As the cruise ship Oosterdam made its way south down the British Columbia coast in a Force 10 Gale, one passenger stayed up late into the night watching his GPS. The great ship seemed to be heading directly towards the hashpoint! And then, a little less so. And then, eventually, quite a bit less so. The hashpoint passed by 1.72 miles to starboard.
