Location
The hash point was just outside a side door (possibly a fire escape) to a warehouse/business in Scarborough, just inside the neighbourhood of Dean Park.
Participants
Plans
I plan to try this one. It looks like it's just outside the front doors to the building, and there should be parking to the building. It's relatively easy to get to from the highway. I'm going to attempt at night, probably near 10pm. Splitdipless 13:07, 27 September 2011 (EDT)
Expedition
Despite driving at night, it was very obvious which building the hash point was at. The driveway I wanted to use had a barrier across it though, so I went to the next drive, which had a small parking lot. I decided to turn around and park between the barrier and the curb.
I had a bit of a problem getting "zero'd in" on the hash point. As I got close to the walls, my GPS would tell me I was further off. Eventually it agreed that the point I was standing in was close enough.
The barrier that blocked car entrance didn't block foot traffic, and actually made a good stand for my camera for the self-photo.
