Expedition
We would not normally have gone for this hash, being three graticules west of home, but it was very close to the M6 motorway, and coincidentally we were driving up the M6 today on our way to north Wales for a week's holiday.
The hash was easy to get to. We'd printed off a map of the area before setting out, and we just turned off the motorway, drove up a few main roads, spotted the side road that we wanted, and parked. The hashpoint itself was on the pavement, so I didn't even have to ask permission to stand in anyone's garden. I might have been tempted to knock on the nearest door and explain geohashing, but it was already 5:15pm and we wanted to get to our holiday, so we just took a few quick photos and left it at that.
The holiday was good, by the way, but it rained a lot.

Achievements
Benjw earned the Land geohash achievement
|
We don't qualify for the wedding anniversary geohash achievement because that requires that you make a retro expedition, to the coordinates for the date of your wedding, whereas we went to the actual coordinates for that day.
