Punched the coords into the Prius GPS and shot right to the street in question. Not a peep from the school (do they celebrate Columbus Day?) but there were other kids entering the neighborhood - middle school or late elementary. Nice day for walking too, which can be unusual in this area!

Android GPS was a little slow to respond, but I eventually danced around to the actual spot. Sidewalk chalk in hand, I marked a nice message and pinned a map to the nearby sign. "Auction Winner Parking" was right next to the geohash point.

Expedition

Thomcat

Discovered today's geohash point early this morning (though Anthill was slow to respond for some reason). I figured if it works out, I'll go.

Later in the day, I saw Boomzilla mentioned he might go. Good enough reason to visit on the way home from work (well, okay, 5-10 miles out of the way).

That done, I snapped a few photos and headed off to Half Price Books on the way home. Found two items from my want list - huzzah!
