The geohash is next to the river Inn, in the city of Innsbruck (AUT) near the Westbahnhof station.
Who Went
TheOneRing - by public transport.
The Expedition
The geohash looked quite easy to reach, being on a street next to the river Inn, close to Innsbruck Westbahnhof.
I took an early train and arrived at Innsbruck half past eleven. From Westbahnhof, it was approx. 1.3km as the bird flies. My way led me parallel to the railway lines onto a doubledeck bridge over the river Inn: on the upper deck, there were the railway lines, on the lower deck a pedestrian bridge. On the other side, the way was parallel to the river. After some hundred meters, in a side street, there was the geohash. I took the usual photographs, but now??
I have never been to Innsbruck yet, so the decision was easy to make: a tour through the city. I walked along the river to the inner city. I visited the famous Golden Roof of Innsbruck together with its museum. The history of Innsbruck and Tyrol was presented. Having learned not much of Austrian history in school (apart from its role before WW I), it was very interesting to read.
Afterwards I continued my tour to the cathedral, to a café, to the Hofburg and so on. After four hours of walking, I arrived at the main station and took a train back home, pretty tired but also happy.
This was my first geohash attempt in Austria, and I will come back.
Fun fact: This was my sixth border crossing geohash, and despite the fact that many countries pay with Euro, this was just the second one, where I could keep my currency (the first one was Swiss-Liechtenstein). The others were crosses of the Swiss-French or Swiss-German border, respectively.

I want to mention here that this was the second region (on country level) I visited in this graticule. When I will visit one geohash in Italy lying in this graticule, I will get the Reverse regional achievement. But this might be quite impossible, as the Italian part is very small and is located in the Alpes.
