I'm planning on riding my bike to Eden after work to get this hash. I will also show you where the first [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazoo Kazoos] were manufactured just 3 blocks from today's hash. The Kazoo factory is still making metal Kazoos almost 100 years after it opened.

Getting to the village of Eden, I saw it was busy and rode past the Eden Corn-fest, a popular summer festival. Shortly after that, I found the 7-Eleven and they allowed me to put my bike next to the door while I grabbed my Geosquishy really quick. I did get some funny looks as to why a cyclist is here to buy a small Slurpee, though. I got some pictures to show I was within 1 KM for a 5 star Geosquishy and figured out that it would sit very secure in my second water bottle holder.

I then got to the hash in a mowed grassy area next to the plaza quite easily, got more pictures and enjoyed my Geosquishy while trying to avoid brain-freeze. Now for the final event, a Hash Collision. Unfortunately, the geocache at the Kazoo Museum was listed as needing maintenance for likely being missing. It's too bad as I could see the museum from the hash. There was another down the road a bit further at the back of a park so it'll be another Honorable Mention. I found the park up a short steep hill but then realized I had also forgotten a pen to sign the log. I figure the pictures I took show I really did find it.

After all the Hash events, I decided to extend my ride a bit further so I rode an extra 4 miles down the road before turning around and heading home.

Plans

This will be my 50th expedition and a nice round (Natural) number just two days before my first Hashiversary. As a bonus, Haberdasher went on an expedition and created a Tale of Two Hashes challenge for Eden three years ago (2012-07-05) which I should be able to complete.

I'm planning on riding my bike to Eden after work to get this hash. I will also show you where the first Kazoos were manufactured just 3 blocks from today's hash. The Kazoo factory is still making metal Kazoos almost 100 years after it opened.

Expedition

Note: As it turned out, this is the first expedition for a consecutive hash. Here is the link for 2015-08-07 42 -78 to connect them.

After work, I got my things together and was on my way to the hash right around 17:30. I had seen on the map that there was a 7-Eleven a few blocks away from the hash so I also wanted to turn this into a Geosquishy hash too. However, a few miles down the road, I realized I had forgotten to grab my bike lock. I would have to ask to bring my bike inside when I got there.
