The ride out was nice, if a little hot. I stopped at the R&M Cyclery for photos before making my turn onto State St. I've always passed that shop, but never been to it. Maybe one day I'll stop in there and see. State St ended up being paved in bricks, which were buckling in some areas and so made for quite the bumpy ride. Luckily for me, the hash point was only a few hundred yards down the road.

I stopped on the sidewalk in front of the house that the point sat just outside of. My GPS decided that this was a great time to go bonkers and my margin of error rose to something like 30 feet. At one point it showed me as being inside the house, then behind it, then in front of it, all without me needing to move from my spot on the sidewalk. I decided to call it "good enough", since I was technically within my (admittedly gigantic) margin of error.

I took a quick photo of the house with the hash point (according to google images) falling just outside the bush in front of it, a photo of myself with [[Hashscots|Collin]], and then placed my business card marker on the ground next to the sidewalk. Hopefully somebody sees it and wants to learn more about geohashing!

Did anyone see the marker I left?
The hash is right out front

Hey look, a geohash that isn't in a farm field! This one was nice and close, and near a route I cycle quite a bit, so it was a pretty easy decision to go for it.

I took a quick photo of the house with the hash point (according to google images) falling just outside the bush in front of it, a photo of myself with Collin, and then placed my business card marker on the ground next to the sidewalk. Hopefully somebody sees it and wants to learn more about geohashing!
