I (boomzilla) can swing by any time today. Anyone else in the area?

Was hoping I could on the way home from work, but that is looking unlikely. Please don't hesitate to take that solo plunge! --Thomcat (talk) 17:53, 1 September 2015 (EDT)

Expedition

I took a long walk down the Interurban Trail. It was archetypal Seattle weather, gloomy, grey, and drizzling--fall arrived in force a few days ago. I do like this weather. It's reminds me of a song by Bauhaus or Broadcast.

I turned onto the main road, and walked the remaining distance to the strip mall. I am not sure I got the spot *exactly* right, but I know I got to within 5 meters of it--I don't think my phone's GPS is the most accurate.

The spot itself was at this corner where a Mexican restaurant was adjacent to a video store (one of the few remaining in the Netflix era). There was a small cafe in the interstitial place at the corner, too. I didn't feel like having a coffee and the moment, nor was I hungry, nor did I have any shopping to do--so, I just walked around the parking lot for a few minutes, but didn't have much else to do.

I didn't leave any marks at the geohash itself since it was too wet to chalk, and I didn't think to print off any fliers.
