Expedition
I rode my bike to Grönloh without any special incidents. From there, things got trickier. I had to walk through a corn field, jump over a creek, and walk next to the edge of a horse pasture to get to the Geohash. It was in a forest right where someone put up a fence, but luckily on my side of the fence.
After taking proof, I decided that I did not want to jump over the creek again. It does not look very wide, but I'm not a trained jumper and I probably have been lucky the first time. So in order to not get wet, I walked on the border between the pasture and the forest.
The horses have already been looking. The forest is pretty small, soon there are pastures on both sides of the path. Suddenly, I am surrounded by approaching horses. I do not like horses very much (ironically, my first name's meaning is “fond of horses”). I know that they most likely just wanted an apple or maybe just were curious, but they are huge and the fence would not have stopped them if they decided to attack me.
However, I escaped the horses unattacked and after walking on a path between two corn fields, I got back to my bike. From there, I rode it to Quakenbrück, where I started off to my next station: 2015-10-08 53 8.
