This was very close to home, 2.4 km as the crow flies. The meadow was dry until the hashpoint which was in a shallow puddle, just enough to get wet feet. There were no animals in the field so it was easy enough to reach the destination. It was a moon lit night but scattered low clouds were making intermittent drizzle. The temperature was 5.5 Celsius. I had been snoozing and nearly failed to make this expedition. Luckily it was close and the outward journey was only 15 minutes.
