Expedition
My daughter and I started out running a few errands this morning including stopping by IBM Toronto to possibly apply for a new job should all hell break loose in the USA now that the election has taken place.
We approached the Geohash spot from the south and parked on the shoulder of the road. We looked for an easy way to traverse into the field and found tractor tracks going into the field. We walked 2 tenths of a mile into the field until there was heavy brush impeding our forward progress. My daughter having boots with heals decided to stay behind. I continued on into the brush about 20 feet until I climbed a small berm and saw a rather large pond of water that was not crossable today. My Kingdom for a boat award? Maybe...
I took a few pictures of my GPS and the surrounding area and when I went to take the selfie pic, the batteries in my camera gave out. My daughter snapped a quick picture of me standing next to the berm in the thick brush and then we were on our way.
This is my last Geohash in Toronto for a while as I am heading back south to the Atlanta Ga graticule on Sunday.
It was great to be here! NWoodruff (talk) 21:24, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
