Blogging across said rivetty bridge, then up the coast (boy I felt sick), I alighted and walked the 15 mins hashwise. A house overlooking one of the lakey harbours they have up here. The house was being heavily renovated and workmen swarmed all over the front and sides of the house. I stood on the hashpoint as identified by the Google satellite view while trying to avoid being noticed by the work-dudes.

Annoyingly, I couldn't get my phone's GPS to update fast enough to say I was on the hash itself before I had to run away, so 5m is as close as I have proof for (although really, I was right there). I took a few hurried photos and got out. A guy yelled at me as I left the driveway but I couldn't hear what he said.

Still on my epic cycle tour from Darwin to Melbourne. I've stopped off in Sydney to soak in the fine steel riveting on one of the bridges they have here, when my excellent friend Tim Blundy alerted me to a gettable hash up north. I continued on my bike immediately towards the train station to get there, so I could blog on the way without crashing.

Sadly, once I got to the train station I realised no trains went anywhere near this hash. So I bounced around frantically looking for a bus. I tied my bike up, bought a ticket, and managed to leap on the right one with not a moment to spare.

I stopped at the shops for a cheese and spinach roll and some milk, then got back on the bus and returned to Sydney. All in a day's work.
